Presenting "Silence in the Snow," the seventh studio album from the formidable American heavy metal ensemble, Trivium. This game-changing album, released on October 2, 2015, under the banner of Roadrunner Records, is a unique entry in their discography for several reasons.

Notably, it marks the sole album featuring the talents of their third drummer, Mat Madiro, who joined the band in May 2014 and eventually departed in December 2015. "Silence in the Snow" stands out further as the band's only release to date devoid of any harsh vocals, offering a distinctive musical experience.

Guiding the creative process was producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette, whose acquaintance with the band dates back to their work on the "In Waves" album in 2011.

This album was unveiled to the world during Trivium's headline performance at the Bloodstock Open Air festival, where they premiered tracks like "Silence in the Snow" and "Blind Leading the Blind." The latter was later released as a single on YouTube on August 13, 2015, accompanied by a music video on August 21, 2015.

The third single, "Until the World Goes Cold," debuted on Augane radio on August 26, 2015, and its music video followed soon after. It climbed to an impressive No. 10 position on the Top 10 Active Rock chart in February 2016, marking a historic achievement for Trivium.

Prior to the album's global release, on September 25, 2015, it was exclusively streamed on Octane, along with two bonus tracks. Furthermore, band members Matt Heafy, Corey Beaulieu, and Paolo Gregoletto actively engaged with listeners on the radio program, offering insights into the songs' meanings and the songwriting process.

The journey continued with the release of the fourth single, "Dead and Gone," complete with its compelling music video, which captivated audiences on March 10, 2016. "Silence in the Snow" truly represents a pivotal chapter in Trivium's musical evolution.
