Dawn of Annihilation is the second full length album from the Swiss old-school death metal quartet Amputate. Digipak edition including bonus track!

“Dawn Of Annihilation”, recreates the future obliteration of humanity by a supreme and malevolent A. I., so says Amputate. That is an interesting concept. This is their sixth release in their discography (including EPs and demos) since the band was created in 2011 and their latest since “ Tortura Macabra”, all a pretty solid decade of hard work. Here is their thirty-four-minute masterpiece with an all-new lineup.

The new and improved band is now describing their message as, “bringing the listener to a future hopeless world where the sun is gone and humans are just there to be harvested”.  Well, alrighty then. This one sounds as cheerful as a basket full of puppies and kittens, lol. Death Metal at its finest.
