Captain Morgan's Revenge is the debut full-length studio album from the Scottish pirate-themed folk/power metal band Alestorm.

In a twist of fate, the band's touring drummer, Ian Wilson, faced travel constraints that prevented him from joining the recording sessions in Germany. Despite this, Ian Wilson managed to contribute subtle percussion accents, enriching the album's sonic tapestry.

Among the treasures of this release is the song "Heavy Metal Pirates," which underwent a reimagining during the same recording sessions. Although it didn't find a home on the album itself, this track eventually found its place as a digital download and on the Leviathan EP, offering fans an additional glimpse into Alestorm's musical prowess.
